The Candi Plastic Recycling Company was founded in 2001 by Mr. Gheorghe Campan. The main activity is the collection and handling of hazardous waste with a focus on plastics.
Besides the main activity, we also trade in machinery.
After its founding in 2001 the first mill was purchased, the second mill and the first shredder was followed five years later in 2006.
In 2008, we have moved our headquarters to its current area, in A-2601 Sollenau, Industriestraße 28. It has a total area of 8,800 m², of which 2,200 square meters of production and office buildings are built on.
The company processed approximately 2,000 tonnes in 2010.
At the end of 2011 we bought an EREMA 90 Extruder with a production volume of 400 kg Pellets per hour.
In 2011 the company processed approximately 2,800 tonnes.
2012 the old Shredder got switched out by a new LINDNER Vega 1650 LN.
The company processed approximately 3,200 tonnes in 2012.
In August 2013 Mr. Campan founded the CANDI Plastic Recycling GmbH in parallel to his sole proprietorship, which will slowly take over the operations of sole proprietorship.
In may 2015 a second extruder, STARLINGER Universal 85 was put into operation. This one is equipped with a shredder instead of the agglomerator. We use this plant mainly for dry and clean material.
In July 2016 the Lindner Vega 1650 has been replaced by a UNTHA QR1700 shredder. The QR1700 is particularly suitable for processing all types of plastic - regardless of shape, condition and nature of the material
